Max is a typical Akita, stubborn but fun who loves a long walk, sniffing and a roll in the grass! He loves going for adventures in the car. 
​One of the few dogs who seem to thrive in a kennel environment, Max would do best living in an outdoor kennel.  He has been trialled living in a home but, unfortunately none of these have worked out for him. 

​Max doesn't like too much physical contact and cannot go to a home with children. Max is looking for a home with someone who understands his breed and requirements.

Max is great on his lead and loves going to the freedom fields to stretch his legs and roll around in the grass and through every muddy puddle he can find. Max will sit, wait and give a paw for a tasty treat.

Max is fun to be around and the kennel team are always cheered up by his character when they take him out and can't sing his praises enough. They really would love to see him in that home he so deserves. ​
