How you can help ADDR
Any Dog ‘il Do Rescue is managed completely by volunteers. Any help we receive goes straight towards supporting the dogs in our care and helping rescue more dogs.
Volunteering
As a fully volunteer-led organization, we rely on our volunteers to help carry out homechecks, transport dogs to foster homes and vets appointments, and walk the dogs in our care at kennels. Find out more about being a volunteer and how to apply.

Fundraising
It costs us thousands of pounds to keep the rescue going every month and it wouldn’t be possible without the help of our volunteer fundraisers. Any event, big or small, goes a long way. We’ve had donations range from work bake sales, sponsored runs, stalls at local events and raffles.
Interested in fundraising? We can help you by co-ordinating with other volunteers in your area and providing merchandise!

Donating
As a non-government funded charity, we rely on fundraising events and donations to help us provide for the dogs in our care.
This includes the cost of vet treatments, neutering, vaccinations and microchipping, as well as boarding.
Here are some of the ways you can donate:
Just Giving - you can donate online using Just Giving (where you can also add Gift Aid at no extra cost).
Total Giving - you can donate online using Total Giving.
Paypal - donations can be made to [email protected] - please ensure any donations are made using the 'Friends and family' option, otherwise the rescue is charged a fee from your donation .
Bank transfers - we can also accept bank transfers. Please contact us for details of how to do this.
Gift Aid - Have you donated to us in the last 4 years? Are you a UK Tax Payer? There may be Gift Aid on your donation allowing us to claim an extra 25% of your donation! Please fill in this declaration form for us to claim it.
Donating items
Tombolas and raffles are some of our most popular fundraising activities! Items like gift sets, toys, novelty items and jewellery are just some of the things that are good for fundraising.
Donations for our dogs are also gratefully received. Items like hard dog beds, tough toys, collars, leads and harnesses (new or slightly used), grooming products and food can all be used by our kennel or foster dogs.
If you have any items that you would like to donate, please contact us to arrange donation drop offs or collections.

Raising awareness
It's important to spread the word about Any Dog 'il Do Rescue to not only help us rehome the dogs in our care but to also raise awareness of why rescue organisations exist and the many issues and causes that lead to dogs ending up in rescue.
A group of students from Edinburgh Napier University made a film about Any Dog 'il Do Rescue. It shows that although dogs have lived in a safe environment in kennels they actually thrive in foster care, where they can live in a real home environment. Watch the short film and if you think fostering is for you visit our foster page to find out more. You can also help us by sharing this video and raising awareness of Any Dog 'il Do and the benefits of fostering.
