Please read the profiles carefully and only apply for the dog, or dogs, that match your circumstances. To apply for adoption please complete an enquiry form and provide as much information as possible so we can make sure you are the most suitable match. Information we need on the application includes a valid email address and contact number, home address and information about your home life like working hours, children (living in and visiting the home) and any other pets or regular animal visitors.

The adoption donation helps us to provide the vet care and boarding the dog has while in our care and all dogs being rehomed will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
Disclaimer: We do not place our dogs in a foster home with any children under the age of 5 and we do not place our dogs in an adopted home with any children under the age of 8 due to the unknown history of the dog's life.
There may be exceptions dependent on if the dog’s history is known. We apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience.
We aim to respond to enquiries within 5 working days but as the rescue is often at full capacity and is ran entirely by volunteers please be patient with us. We try to get back to all enquiries in due course. More photos and updates about the rescue and our dogs is available from our facebook and twitter pages.

Casper
Breed- American bulldog
Age- 2 year approx
Vaccinated- yes
Microchipped- yes
Neutered- Yes
Dogs- yes. very much enjoys their company
Cats- no
Children- 16+
Casper is a brilliant young man. Casper is very affectionate and loves a good butt scratch. Casper is good on his lead but does pull when he wants to say hi to another dog. Casper is clean in the home but does have separation anxiety and will bark when left so will need someone willing to work through this with him. Casper is great at the vets and they all fell in love with him when he went in for castration and partial tail amputation. His tail is still healing and so he will still need to be careful until this is fully healed but he is adapting well to having a partial tail. Casper travels well in the car either in a crate or on a seat belt on the back seat. Casper will need someone who is willing to continue this young mans training and you will have the best dog ever!!
If you feel you meet Caspers needs and would like to be considered please complete our adoption enquiry form giving as much information as you can and his coordinator can see if you are a match. https://www.anydogildorescue.org/adoption-enquiry-form.html

Raven
Breed- Corso cross Boxer
Age- between 2 and 3 year approx
Vaccinated- yes
Microchipped- yes
Neutered- Will be done in foster
Dogs- Yes. very much enjoys their company
Cats- no
Children- Yes- 10+
Raven is a gorgeous gentle soul. Raven is another of our beauties saved from the pound. Raven was very scared and shy when she first came to us but is slowly coming out of her shell and showing her cheeky side. Raven is crate trained and will sleep in her crate at night and also when you go out. She will cry for a few minutes when you first leave her but does settle down as we have monitored her on a camera. We leave her with calming dog music on the tv and this seems to really help to settle her and she knows this routine now. Raven pulls when on lead so have been introducing a head collar to her which is slow progress. Raven currently lives in foster with 3 other dogs and enjoys their company and initiates play with them. Raven gets worried by dogs barking when out and also loud noises so her new owners will need to work on her to build her confidence with this. Raven has also spent a bit of time in a pub and having a pub lunch and behaved very well settling down and greeting everyone with a calm curiosity. Raven has not been off lead and so recall will need to be worked on as she is also still getting used to her name. Raven has bonded closely with the male of the home so could do well with living with a male although will also cuddle up with the female fosters.
If you feel you meet Ravens needs and would like to be considered please complete our adoption enquiry form giving as much information as you can and her coordinator can see if you are a match. https://www.anydogildorescue.org/adoption-enquiry-form.html

Harry
Breed- Bull Mastiff
Age- 1 approx
Neutered- No. Will be done in foster.
Dogs- yes but would prefer pet free
Cats- Shows interest.
Kids- 16+ due to size and strength
Vaccinated- Yes
Harry is a big ball of fun.
He needs some boundaries set and some leash training but will make a very good walking and playing ball companion to a bull breed experienced home.
Harry loves human attention and will sit nice for a treat when told.
He does act very puppyish and will jump up with excitement.
He needs someone willing to put in the training he lacked as a pup.
He is strong on the leash for first ten minutes of a walk but will then settle and walk better.
He loves playing ball games and is very treat orientated. So he will be easily trained using positive reward based training.
He is fine with dogs but due to needing some training we feel he would suit being the only pet in an adult home who will commit their time to Harry.
He is such a loving fun boy and will be an amazing dog in the right home.

Meg
Age: 1.5 year approx
Breed: Malinois
Microchip: Yes
Neutered: Will be done in foster
Vaccinated: Yes
Dog friendly:Yes
Cat friendly: No
Child friendly: 16 years+
Garden: Not essential
More information: This sweetheart is Meg. She's a beautiful malinois who is looking for an experienced foster home. Meg is very strong so needs someone physically able to handle her. She hasn't had much training and so she will need someone who will positively do training with her. Meg has now been dog tested and was not dog friendly while in kennels however while in temporary foster proved that she is in fact dog friendly so could live with another dog. She is not child tested however due to her strength we would prefer a child free home at the minute. As Meg came from the pound we had no history of how she is in a home however again while in temporary foster we were able to see that Meg hasn't had much structure in a home and will need someone to be consistent and able to put those boundaries in place. She would also benefit from someone around most of the day would be best for her. If you feel you could offer Meg the foster home she's looking for then please do complete our foster enquiry form with as much information as possible and we will get back to you. http://www.anydogildorescue.org/fostering-enquiry-form.html

Max
Breed: Akita
Age: About 2 years.
Sex: Male
Neutered: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
Microchipped: Yes
Children: No. Adult only
Cats: No
Dogs: Fine meeting dogs on leash on walks.
Description
Max is a typical, young, strong akita lad who likes his own space.
We absolutely need someone who knows his breed well. So an Akita experienced home only please.
Max cannot go to an inexperienced home as there has been an incident in a home which resulted in someone being bitten.
Max is impeccably behaved in kennels and loves long walks with our volunteers where there has never been any problems.
He walks well and sits and takes treats gently.
He has always been fine walking past and meeting other dogs on his walks.
He may be able to live with a well rounded dog of similar breed and size. With careful introductions in the home.
Max would make an ideal companion for someone who loves the great outdoors and has perhaps lost their beloved Akita and needs a new walking partner to explore with.
He prefers a hands off approach in the home where he can chill undisturbed after a long hike. Although Max is a friendly boy on walks he definitely is NOT a cuddly lap dog as he enjoys his own space.
If you feel you have the experience Max needs. Please follow the link
http://www.anydogildorescue.org/fostering-enquiry-form.html and fill out a foster form, giving all relevant experience.
Once in foster we will pay for a behaviourist to visit your home to offer one to one support to give Max the best chance of success in his foster home with view to his foster carer adopting him.

Viktor
Breed- Husky cross
Age- 2 /3 years approx
Neutered - No, will be in foster
Dogs- fine meeting dogs.
Cats- showed interest.
Kids- untested
Vaccinated- yes
Viktor has been assessed in kennels and is a lovely friendly boy.
He now needs a foster home with a view to adopt, to further assess him in a home environment.
We will arrange his neuter once in his foster home.
Viktor is a very beautiful boy with stunning turquoise blue eyes.
He will sit nice for a treat.
Viktor is strong on the leash and for this reason alone would probably be better as an only dog. So his family can work on his leash training.
Viktor ignores passing cars, horses and horse drawn vehicles.
He is a high energy boy who would suit an active family.
If you feel you can offer him the right home please complete the form https://www.anydogildorescue.org/fostering-enquiry-form.html

Dragan
Breed: Collie cross
Sex: Male
Age: 9 months approx
Neutered: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
Microchipped: Yes
Child Friendly: Would prefer child free
Dog Friendly: Yes- MUST GO WITH ANOTHER CONFIDENT DOG
Cat Friendly: Yes
Dragan is a beautiful collie cross who has had very little socialisation so finds the world a scary place. He has been working hard to built his confidence with one of our coordinators and we now feel its time to start to build a trust and bond with a forever family. Dragon will need an understanding, calm owner who will be willing to meet him multiple times and understand that this boy has not had the best start to life and will take time to interact with any humans. It is for this reason we are looking for child free for him. Dragon takes a lot of confidence and comfort from another dog and so he must go to a home with a resident dog who is confident and won't mind a play when he builds a bond and feels confident to do so. Dragan may benefit from having direct access to a garden however this is not essential as he doesn't currently have this and does cope with going through the stair to get to the garden for the toilet. He has come a long way with his toilet training but still has the odd accident if he is worried or hasn't been taken out. Dragan is crate trained and will want to have a crate in his new home as he finds real comfort in this. He is also left in his crate when left and can be left for a few hours. Dragon currently lives with a cat and so could go to a home with a dog savvy cat. He does try to play with the current cat but does leave when told. Dragan has a super sweet nature once he gets to know you and our coordinator will be sad to see him go but knows that with the right home he will continue to thrive. Dragan travels well in a crate in the car/van and is comfortable with travelling. He needs a home with very few visitors and ideally in a quiet street.
If you feel you can meet this very special boys requirements please complete our application form giving as much information about your home and lifestyle. https://www.anydogildorescue.org/fostering-enquiry-form.html
