Dolly is a 3 year old spayed Jagdterrier and a real sweetheart. She loves snuggling at home and using her brain during training.
She enjoys having visitors and after an initial period of excitement, calms down and enjoys a cuddle. Dolly still has the occasional accident which seems to be linked to anxiety and overexcitement. Being able to take her out regularly while she is settling into her new home will be very important. Dolly is looking for a pet free home with teen-aged children or older and would prefer a home away from busy city life. |
Dolly can be quite nervous, especially when left on her own and when going out, particularly in new places, and therefor needs someone who understands anxious dogs and is able to work with her on this. Naturally clever, we feel she'll do great with proper training and has already been working on positive reinforcement with her fosters. Dolly might also do well with a working home where she can get her outlets for her breed but then come home and snuggle into her humans. Dolly is muzzle trained which she wears when out on walks. |
