Your Enquiry:

Please read the profiles carefully and only apply for the dog, or dogs, that match your circumstances. To apply for adoption please complete an enquiry form and provide as much information as possible so we can make sure you are the most suitable match. Information we need on the application includes a valid email address and contact number, home address and information about your home life like working hours, children (living in and visiting the home) and any other pets or regular animal visitors.

The adoption donation is £200 per dog - we will also provide a £50 contribution towards the neutering of puppies and any dog unable to be neutered prior to rehoming; this will be paid direct to the vet of your choice.  The adoption donation helps us to provide the vet care and boarding the dog has while in our care and all dogs being rehomed will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Disclaimer: We do not place our dogs in a foster home with any children under the age of 5 and we do not place our dogs in an adopted home with any children under the age of 8 due to the unknown history of the dog's life.
There may be exceptions dependent on if the dog’s history is known. We apologise for any disappointment or
inconvenience.

We aim to respond to enquiries within 5 working days but as the rescue is often at full capacity and is ran entirely by volunteers please be patient with us. We try to get back to all enquiries in due course. More photos and updates about the rescue and our dogs is available from our facebook and twitter pages.

Max

Breed: Akita
Age: About 2 years.
Sex: Male
Neutered: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
Microchipped: Yes
Children: No. Adult only
Cats: No
Dogs: Fine meeting dogs on leash on walks.

Description
Max is a typical, young, strong akita lad who likes his own space.

We absolutely need someone who knows his breed well. So an Akita experienced home only please.

Max cannot go to an inexperienced home as there has been an incident in a home which resulted in someone being bitten.

Max is impeccably behaved in kennels and loves long walks with our volunteers where there has never been any problems.
He walks well and sits and takes treats gently.
He has always been fine walking past and meeting other dogs on his walks.
He may be able to live with a well rounded dog of similar breed and size. With careful introductions in the home.

Max would make an ideal companion for someone who loves the great outdoors and has perhaps lost their beloved Akita and needs a new walking partner to explore with.

He prefers a hands off approach in the home where he can chill undisturbed after a long hike. Although Max is a friendly boy on walks he definitely is NOT a cuddly lap dog as he enjoys his own space.

If you feel you have the experience Max needs. Please follow the link
http://www.anydogildorescue.org/fostering-enquiry-form.html and fill out a foster form, giving all relevant experience.

Once in foster we will pay for a behaviourist to visit your home to offer one to one support to give Max the best chance of success in his foster home with view to his foster carer adopting him.

Lucy is a typical young terrier pup. She is full of life, curiosity, energy and has a desire for training and games.
She needs someone that will continue to give her rules and guidance and continue to work on her obedience training.
Lucy enjoys brain games and scent work puzzles.
In her foster home she has been going to a freedom field, to run around, burn off energy and enjoy agility obstacles.
Lucy would benefit from someone that is interested in doing some kind of dog sport or agility training with her. She likes adventures.
Lucy is crate trained and happily sleeps in it at night or during the day if she is left alone. She can be left in the home for a couple of hours.
If you feel you could provide the perfect forever home for Lucy, being able to give her the exercise, training and cuddles that she loves, please get in touch with us by filling out our adoption enquiry form.
Thank you.
